#Providenciales, February 26, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – Police are investigating a robbery when armed men approached a Bar in Kew Town. At 2:30 a.m., it was reported to the Police that three males wearing masks, one armed with a firearm, exited from a silver or grey car and approached the bar patrons and demanded money. A wallet containing identification cards and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. A male victim was hit with the butt of the firearm by one of the robbers. One spent shell was recovered for processing.
At 8:13 p.m., a male reported that he was driving along Turtle Cove Drive, he picked up two males in his black Nissan Car. The Complainant reported that the two males held him at gunpoint took his phone, cash and drove off in his black Nissan car.
At 8:30 p.m., 911 received a report that two males were robbed on Long Bay Beach Drive. According to the complainants they were walking to their home when they were approached by two armed men who demanded money. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. The men described as dark complexion was wearing dark clothing with masks. The complainants were unable to give a description of the car.
