Fire Truck flips, Airport closed for hours

Grand Turk, TCI, September 6, 2016 – Flights were suspended to and from the JAGS McCartney International Airport yesterday because a fire truck overturned on the runway.
It was explained to Magnetic Media that the closure of the Grand Turk airport was about two hours long and brought little to no inconvenience as it relates flights and passengers.
As for how that truck got onto its side, it is unclear.
One report to us is that one member of the fire crew sprained his wrist.
