The TCHTA added that, the increase CPF fee from 6% to 7.5% and the 12% taxation of services such as spas, water sports and excursions like fishing and diving which comes into effect next week Friday November 1st came as a slap in the face to TCHTA board members and businesses in general as there was no consultation with the sector. The TCHTA say such actions by the government is deemed unacceptable and is contrary to the spirit of working together in a Public & Private Partnership, called a common rhetoric of the Government.
