Air arrivals
PROVIDENCIALES, TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS (December 29th, 2024) – Air arrivals to the Turks and Caicos Islands are on the increase as the Winter season sets in. In November 2024, air passenger arrivals reached 53,982, representing a slight one percent increase over the 53,414 recorded in November 2023.
Notably, air arrivals in October 2024 totalled 41,387, followed by a significant 30.4 percent increase in November which reflects the steady increase predicted for the winter season. November’s figure of 53,982 also marks the highest monthly total since August 2024, signalling renewed momentum after a relatively slow September and October.

Cruise passengers
Cruise passengers for November saw 92,221 cruise arrivals, a two percent decline compared to 93,395 in November 2023. From January to November 2024, cruise passenger arrivals demonstrated a year-over-year increase in all but two months, January and November. In November 2024, 25 cruise ships called to the Grand Turk Cruise Centre, representing a modest year-over-year increase of four percent.
“As we head into the winter season, we are experiencing an uptick in arrivals as expected. Data has shown that our numbers will rise and I am confident we will experience an even better year than the amazing one we had in 2024. From search and booking data, the Turks and Caicos Islands remains the number one choice for our market, the affluent, multi-generational travellers,” said Minister of Tourism, the Hon. Josephine Connolly.
