GENERAL SITUATION:  A COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH THE SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS AND THE TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS TODAY AS A HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WEST OF THE AREA BRINGS DRIER AND COOLER CONDITIONS TO THE REST OF THE BAHAMAS.

FOR THE NORTHWEST AND CENTRAL BAHAMAS:

WEATHER:  PARTLY SUNNY, BREEZY AND MILD TODAY WITH THE CHANCE OF FEW PASSING SHOWERS LIKELY. FAIR AND COOL CONDITIONS EXPECTED TONIGHT.

WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR TUESDAY: A COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE SOME UNSETTLED WEATHER ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS AND THE TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS  WITH PARTLY CLOUDY AND MILD CONDITIONS CONTINUING ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE BAHAMAS.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK: A WELL-DEFINED, NON-TROPICAL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LOCATED ABOUT 1000 MILES EAST OF BERMUDA IS PRODUCING A LARGE AREA OF DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY NORTHEAST THROUGH SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER.   THIS LOW COULD GRADUALLY ACQUIRE SOME SUBTROPICAL OR TROPICAL CHARACTERISTICS BY THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK WHILE IT MEANDERS OVER THE CENTRAL ATLANTIC OCEAN BETWEEN BERMUDA AND THE AZORES. THERE IS A LOW TO MEDIUM CHANCE OF DEVELOPMENT OF THIS AREA, THROUGH THE NEXT 48 HOURS TO 5 DAYS.
