#Guyana, May 27, 2022 – Guyana’s economy is growing because of its emerging oil and gas industry and as demands increase, Century 21, one of the largest real estate firms in the world, has agreed to provide its services locally.

The company has, since Wednesday, officially opened its doors at Lot 85A Lamaha Street, Georgetown.

Century 21 operates in over 72 countries worldwide with its over 121,000 real estate agents. As for Guyana, the company’s intention is to create hundreds of jobs for locals. They are also planning to open at least 10 to 15 offices in Guyana.

“Anywhere there is land in Guyana, there is a need for a real estate office – in all the different regions. Century 21 is more of a servicing company, so we are here to service the locals,” said Chief Executive Officer of Century 21 Guyana, Chief Samsair.

Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal, while welcoming the investment at the opening ceremony said the demand for housing locally is huge and it requires “first world standards,” which Century 21 is able to deliver, while enhancing the real estate sector.
