The EU allocates millions to Haiti for Humanitarian aid.

#Haiti#EU, March 14th, 2024 – With the rapid increase in gang violence in Haiti further worsening issues such as food insecurity and the availability of health services, the European Commission has allocated 20 million Euros, that is 21 million US dollars, towards humanitarian aid.

This was reported by the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Operations (ECHO) in a release on March 13, and they said the funding will facilitate humanitarian partners in addressing the urgent needs of the Haitian population including nutrition, water and sanitation and healthcare.
