PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands: More than 40 million listeners across North and South America tuned in to their favourite radio programmes as Beaches Turks and Caicos (BTC) and the Ministry of Tourism hosted its second multi-station radio remote for 2023 at the picturesque resort recently.
More than 70 DJ’s and journalists across 19 radio stations engaged their listeners in lively interviews with representatives of the resort, American Airlines and the Ministry of Tourism, highlighting why Turks and Caicos Islands continue to be a leading vacation destination.
General Manager of Beaches Turks and Caicos James McAnally shared, “having the opportunity to host such a dynamic team from different parts of the world was a delight. Also having our local tourism leaders share in this new move to directly incorporate our local audience, was an added incentive.”

Stations throughout North America covered Baltimore, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Tampa, Charleston, Phoenix, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Miami and Houston. While the South America received coverage through stations from Chile and Paraguay.
“The overall diversity of the members of the visiting team was remarkable as we also included crews from South America. It was truly remarkable to get our product across to so many diverse listeners. Our incredible team have once again made us champions of the World’s Best All-Inclusive Family Resort,” noted McAnally.
Sandals representatives from food and beverage, spa, sales, watersports, Kids Camp, Sandals Foundation and entertainment shared company updates and plans as well as showcased activities in store for resort visitors.
Ministry of Tourism representatives and other sponsors, were also on hand to share with the listening public even more reasons for choosing Beaches Turks and Caicos and the Turks and Caicos Islands for their next vacation.

Multi-Radio Remote RRT experience
Each radio station had the opportunity to air stories of different team members and highlighted the value-added component presented by the resort. As part of the ‘work-cation,’ radio guests were able to explore the amazing amenities at Beaches Turks and Caicos, Sandals Foundation Reading Road Trip and pristine attractions via the Island Routes Adventure Tours.
To top things off, each station offered listeners the chance to win a four-day/three-night luxury included vacation at any Beaches resort, with round-trip airfare on American Airlines.
