#Barbados, October 18, 2023 – Described as the most anticipated opening, Barbados has become more attractive to the international community with Wyndham Grand’s opening of the Sam Lord’s Castle Resort.

Unlocking the doors of the new resort was long awaited according to Caribbean Journal and now the 422 room all inclusive spot, set on the increasingly popular south coast of the island, at Sam Lord’s Castle former site, will make for a more sought after Barbados.

October 12th marked the soft opening of the location with a formal opening set for early 2024, Wyndham says.

The resort carries 10 dining concepts and included is a “farm-to-fork” program featuring locally sourced food. Also, there will be a 13,000 square-foot spa with a pool area and  fitness and yoga centres.

Highlighting Barbados as the perfect location to launch such a resort, Gustavo Viescas, president, Latin America and Caribbean at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts said, “Barbados offers the perfect backdrop for a chic and upscale getaway – lush, tropical gardens, uninterrupted ocean views and an array of opportunities to unplug, unwind and make lasting memories with friends and family.”
