#Jamaica, October 19, 2023 – Three hundred and twenty devices, suspected to be explosives, were discovered at a premise on Darling Street in the Kingston Western Police Division.

The revelation, currently undergoing chemical tests to determine the nature of the substances by the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Corporate (JCF) Communications Unit (CCU), comes following a joint police-military intelligence operation, reports say.

In fact, JCF in a Wednesday statement says the operation was done under high-quality intelligence acquired through the use of technologies and other methodologies.

In applauding their efforts, JCF expressed that the discovery, “underscores our unyielding commitment to ensure the safety of the Jamaican people.”

Additionally, they said upon the conclusion of the tests being done, the organization will provide updates “as and when it’s appropriate.”
