Annual Clinical Observership Summer Programme for Medical and Health-Related University Students
(Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Thursday, June 8, 2023): InterHealth Canada – Turks and Caicos Islands Hospital is proud to announce the launch of its annual Clinical Observership Summer Programme, designed for students who are currently enrolled in a clinical sciences university programme. The programme will provide participants with an immersive clinical experience under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals.
The Clinical Observation Summer Programme is a three-week programme that will begin from July 24th to August 11th, 2023, at the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre. Throughout the programme, students can observe and learn through various clinical rotations in Allied Health (Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Diagnostic Imaging) and Clinical Specialty areas.

“We are thrilled to launch this innovative Clinical Observership Programme,” said Dr Sani Amatti, Deputy Chief of Medical Services at the Turks and Caicos Islands Hospital. “We recognize the value of hands-on experience in the medical field and the importance of building strong relationships between students, healthcare professionals, and patients,” added Dr Amatti.
To participate in the Clinical Observership Summer Programme, students must apply utilizing the QR code or registration link: https://bit.ly/3CgSiu6. A 500-word personal statement and a curriculum vitae must be uploaded to the application portal.
Successful applicants will be notified of their acceptance into the programme.
