#TurksandCaicos, January 28, 2022 – The taste of Italy is coming to Turks and Caicos, and it will accentuated the opening of the Rock House says Nikheel Advani, Chief Operating Officer, Grace Bay Resorts.

From announcement to the June 2019 ground breaking, onto construction started, construction completed and opening date reveal in November 2021, most in the Turks and Caicos Islands have been along for the journey of Grace Bay Resorts’ newest property, the Rock House.  It is also the TCIs newest resort and with its recent accolade of being named among the top Hotels of the World, we find that now Italy is coming.

Nikheel says the dining experience ahead of the Rock House opening in April, will be extraordinary, and is dubbed A Taste of the Amalfi, bringing the delicious flavours of the Santa Caterina coast to the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Foods will be prepared by Executive Chef, Frank Castleton; Group director of food and beverage, Chef Christopher Meredith and special guest chef, Giuseppe Stanzione, who is a Michelin star and Executive Chef from Santa Caterina, Italy.

The dining experience is not a one night event, we are told.  A Taste of the Amalfi, which is also sponsored by the Caribbean Food & Wine Festival of the Turks and Caicos Islands will stretch from February 7th through 20th, and is designed to showcase the culinary offerings to be featured at the Rock House in two months’ time.

Residents and guests to the island are welcomed to dine on the cuisine at the Grille at Grace Bay Club.  Reservations are recommended.
