Graceway Grand Turk Notice of Temporary Store Closures

#TurksandCaicos, May 8, 2021 – This past year has created very challenging economic and trading conditions within Grand Turk. It is with much sadness that we, at Graceway Supermarkets, have made the difficult decision to temporarily close Backsalina and Corner Store in Grand Turk on the 23^rd of May, consolidating the business into one store, Graceway Grand Turk. The Graceway board has not made this decision lightly but felt it necessary in order to secure the long-term future of Graceway on Grand Turk.

Unfortunately, this means that some of our team members across the Grand Turk stores will be made redundant. This, we know, will be difficult and upsetting news for our hard-working team in Grand Turk; however, once the economy recovers, and Graceway is in a position to re-open these stores, we hope to rehire as many employees as possible.

To our Backsalina and Corner Store customers, we know that this will be unfortunate and unwelcome news; however, we will aim to provide the best shopping experience in Grand Turk at our Graceway Store on Church Folly Rd. We would like to thank our customers for their ongoing loyalty to Graceway Supermarkets.
