TCI: 250 Students benefit in Flow’s Back to School Exercise

#Providenciales, September 17,  2018 Turks & Caicos – Cable & Wireless TC Ltd/Flow TCI, full service communications and entertainment provider in the Turks and Caicos, is proud to announce that 250 students across all schools in South Caicos, North and Middle Caicos were equipped with school bags, lunch packs and supplies to aid them in their studies for the new school year.

In keeping with our mission to ‘Connect Communities and Transform Lives’, our team travelled over the course of two days to personally distribute supplies to schools on the sister islands, exactly one year after the passing of both Hurricanes Irma and Maria.

Flow TCI Country Manager, Mrs. Delleriece Hall remarked: “It is often that the schools namely in South Caicos, North and Middle Caicos are forgotten. Therefore we took the initiative as a team to correct that, and to give back to these schools and these islands to encourage them to continue to strive to be best.”

On Thursday, Sep 13, the team from Flow including Flow’s Country Manager visited the Iris Stubbs Primary School at both their new and former campus to distribute supplies to a total of 103 students from Pre-K up to Grade 6.

On Friday, Sep 14, our team travelled to North Caicos to visit the Adelaide Oemler Primary School, Doris Robinson Primary School, and C. Hubert James Primary School to distribute supplies to a total of 147 students across all campuses also from Pre-K to Grade 6.

“I would like to say a very big thank you to Flow for coming in this morning and presenting supplies to our students. I am sure that they are going to take the best care of it and it is going to be used for nothing more than to promote education,” shared Principal of C. Hubert James, Mrs. Commonceta Campbell-Morley.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish all students, educators and counsellors across the Turks and Caicos Islands a successful school year.
