#Bahamas, September 27, 2017 – Nassau – THIS IS THE 6AM BAHAMAS PUBLIC FORECAST FOR TODAY AND TONIGHT WEDNESDAY 27TH SEPTEMBER 2017.

 GENERAL SITUATIONA TROUGH STRETCHING OVER THE NORTHWEST BAHAMAS WILL GENERATE UNSETTLED WEATHER ACROSS THE ISLANDS.

 SPECIAL WARNINGSRESIDENTS IN LOW LYING AREAS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO THE RISK OF LOCALIZED FLOODING DURING HEAVY OR PROLONGED RAINFALL EVENTS. BOATERS SHOULD ALSO BE ALERT FOR THE RISK OF WATERSPOUTS…BOATERS AND BEACHGOERS SHOULD CONTINUE TO EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO MODERATE SWELLS, ROUGH SURF AND THE HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT BEACHES MAINLY ALONG THE NORTHERN AND EASTERN SHORELINES.

 WEATHER:  CLOUDY TO OVERCAST WITH WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH SOME BECOMING HEAVY TO SEVERE AT TIMES.

ADVISORY: SMALL CRAFT SHOULD BE ALERT FOR GUSTY WINDS AND HIGHER SEAS IN OR NEAR HEAVY SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS.
