Golden Chefs for TCI

United States, June 8, 2017 – Miami, FLThe Turks and Caicos this year takes Gold at the Taste of the Caribbean Culinary competition, improving on last year’s performance where the team earned silver. 

The gold medal win at the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s annual culinary challenge has thrilled the local industry workers and the results were posted on Facebook by TCHTA Executive, Stacy Cox.

Led by Chef Colin Watson of Beaches resort, the squad features 2016’s Caribbean Junior Chef of the Year, Robin Angel Simons and Wilkiens Martin who are both products of the TCHTA’s lil Chef program. 

The culinary team is now headed to New York for the Caribbean Tourism Organizations’ Rhythm and Rum, courtesy of the TCI Tourist Board.
