Turks and Caicos, May 31, 2017 – Providenciales – For the second consecutive year, the Kiwanis Club of Providenciales will be serving lunches to students sitting the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT). This year the exercise will take place, not only on Providenciales, but for the first time students in Grand Turk, South Caicos, North Caicos and Middle Caicos will be included.
The lunch will be served for the two days of the examination, and the total lunch count covers nearly 500 students, with the majority sitting the exams at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex. On the lunch menu is chicken tenders, sandwiches, fruits, cookies, juice and water.
We have been able to do this with sponsorship from Graceway IGA and support from the Kiwanis Club of Grand Turk and also the Rotary Club. The Kiwanis Club has as its motto “Serving the children of the world”, and we are proud and honored to carry out this activity to serve the children of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
