As a brand and a corporation in the Turks And Caicos Islands, LIME/C&W, is a prime example of what it means to be an outstanding corporate citizen and a partner in and champion for education.
With one of the nation’s largest public school’s under adoption, grants to top students in Grand Turk attending the HJ Robinson High, and top students in Providenciales attending institutions such as British West Indies Collegiate, Maranatha High and Wesley Methodist High, LIME gives back over $100,000 worth of contributions to the education sector on an annual basis.
In September of last year, we welcomed two of LIME’s new scholarship students to the fold, namely, Shawn Gardiner and Vincent Zamora. Shawn and Vincent were selected as the two top GSAT students for the 2015 entrance exams.
In that same breath we celebrated the graduation of Jon Bonae Chung (currently doing SATs and online studies with hopes to further her education in Journalism) and Sasha Arthur (currently in the UK completing her A Levels at Manchester College, with hopes of moving onto university to study Law).
As we approach the middle of Term III we join with the Ministry of Education in wishing all of our Grade Six students good success as they prepare themselves for the Grade Six Achievement Test and for the next leg of their educational journey.
Additionally, we would like to advise the general public that for the year 2016, instead of offering a full scholarship, we will be offering the top GSAT student a $1500 grant per term to go to the secondary institution of their choice.
