PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands: – As students from primary and secondary institutions close an important chapter of
their educational journey, the Caribbean’s premier all-inclusive family resort proudly joined in the celebrations and reaffirmed its belief that investment in youth development is essential for community and national growth.
“Graduation is a milestone that deserves to be recognized and honoured,” said James McAnally, managing director of Beaches Turks & Caicos. “Our students have worked hard, and now it’s time for them to celebrate just as hard. We are proud to support them and share in their success.”
Beaches Turks & Caicos made several meaningful contributions – both tangible and intangible -to make graduation season even more memorable for students and their families. Among the highlights was the resort’s engagement in local ceremonies and its tradition of offering immersive experiences that reward academic excellence.
Public Relations Manager Orville Morgan served as chair of the Grade 6 graduation ceremony at Community Christian Academy in Providenciales. Dressed in full academic regalia, Morgan delivered a heartfelt message to the graduates and other stakeholders.
“It takes a village to raise a child,” Morgan said. “Parents, teachers and the wider community each play a role in shaping the next generation. With the right mindset, our students can overcome any obstacle and achieve great things.”
His message resonated well with attendees, including Principal Krystal Vincent, who described the address as both inspiring and motivating for staff and students alike.
In other engagements, two outstanding students – Herifer Fermin from Enid Capron Primary School and Pechè Ariza, valedictorian of
Marjorie Basden High School – expressed gratitude for the resort’s ongoing support. Both were awarded day passes to experience Beaches Turks & Caicos’ five-star service.
“Beaches has been part of our journey,” Ariza shared. “Years ago, they donated school supplies to every student at my school. Now, I get to celebrate my graduation with my family at the resort. This is a full-circle moment.”
Through initiatives led by both the resort and the Sandals Foundation, Beaches Turks & Caicos continues to play an active role in educational upliftment across Providenciales, Grand Turk, South Caicos and North and Middle Caicos and live out its mission to deliver world-class service both on and off the resort.
