Post Cabinet Statement – July 18, 2025
Acting Governor Her Excellency Anya Williams chaired the 15th Meeting of the Cabinet on Friday July 18, 2025 at the Office of the Premier on the island of Providenciales.
All members were present.
At this meeting Cabinet:
- Approved an amendment to the final adjudication process for the grant of Islander status by the TCI Status Commission under the Turks and Caicos Islands Status Act and for the drafting of a Bill to return to Cabinet for review and approval before onward submission to the Parliament
- Approved the following appointments to the Turks and Caicos Islander Status Commission :
- Chairperson – Clara Gardiner
- Premiers Nominee – Jajuan Harvey
- Premiers Nominee – Ben Walkin
