APARTMENT COMPLEX ROBBERY IN KEW TOWN

We previously reported on the theft of a Blue Honda Fit in Dock Yard between November 12th and 13th; it is believed that stolen car was used in the commission of another crime.
In this latest incident, a robbery occurred at an apartment complex in Kew Town, Providenciales, shortly after 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday,
Unmasked robbers exited a Blue Honda Fit armed – reportedly – with an AK-47 rifle and a handgun. Two victims, who had just arrived home and were also exiting their vehicle, and were ambushed by the gunmen.
Approximately $3,000 in cash, their cell phones, jewelry, and other valuables were stolen.
Police suspect that the Blue Honda Fit used in this robbery is the same vehicle involved in the kidnapping and robbery reported the previous day, on Tuesday, November 12th.
Eyewitnesses in Kew Town reported seeing the Blue Honda Fit fleeing toward the Dock Yard area following the robbery.
The police investigation remains active.
