REGISTRAR GENERAL’S OFFICE ACHIEVES MILESTONE IN TWIN ISLAND VISIT: OVER 210 BIRTH AND DEATH CERTIFICATE APPLICATIONS SUCCESSFULLY PROCESSED

Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, 25th July 2024 – In a landmark initiative to enhance accessibility and streamline vital record services, the Registrar General’s Office has successfully concluded its twin island visit, achieving significant success in facilitating the reprint of birth and death certificates for the islands of North and Middle Caicos. During the visit, the team efficiently processed over 210 applications, underscoring the department’s commitment to service excellence and community outreach.

The Registrar General’s Office embarked on this outreach program with the primary aim of providing residents on both islands with convenient access to essential civil documents. The initiative, which spanned 3 days, included dedicated efforts from a skilled team who worked tirelessly to ensure residents could easily obtain reprints of their birth and death certificates.

Residents who participated in the program expressed their gratitude for the convenience and efficiency of the services provided. One resident noted, “The Registrar General’s Office coming to our island has made a big difference. It was much easier to get my documents reprinted without the need to travel far.”

The Registrar General’s Office plans to continue such outreach initiatives in the future, further reinforcing its mission to provide accessible, efficient, and responsive services to all citizens.
