Police Arrest and Charge NINTH person in Jumillo Isma cell phone criminal saga

#TurksandCaicos, June 18, 2024 – Charged is a father and son (CHUNCO JESTAN SEYMOUR and his son SHAKEME SEYMOUR), two brothers (GINO and LORENZO GERBEX), now joining as the latest accused and the youngest of the nine people already charged in the JUMILLO ISMA cellphone conspiracy is, 19 year old CARLOS HIGGS aka Ausher.

He was charged on May 18th 2024 for:

• Conspiracy to possess firearms

• Conspiracy to possess ammunition

• Conspiracy to supply firearm

• Conspiracy to supply ammunition

HIGGS appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, May 21st, and was remanded to the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation until his sufficiency hearing on July 4, 2024.

He can apply in the Supreme Court for bail.

The remaining four individuals are charged in the criminal conspiracy are:-

• JAMES FERGUSON

• RYAN SMITH

• ANTHONY CLARKE

• GREGORY LOUIS

GREGORY LOUIS case was called for sufficiency hearing on Friday 10th June, but his counsel Mrs. Latisha Williams-Bruce was not ready to proceed due to just being recently served with the Sufficiency Hearing bundle/papers.

The LOUIS matter was adjourned to next sufficiency hearing on July 4th of this year.
