Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Tuesday, 11 June 2024: The Department of Rehabilitation and Community Supervision (DRCS) is proud to announce the successful transition to a cutting-edge electronic case management system facilitated by Pronto Caseload Solutions (PCS). This significant upgrade aims to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and improve client service across the islands.

From 30th May to 4th June 2024, our dedicated probation officers underwent comprehensive training to master the new platform. The training featured insights from Mrs. Emili Roman and Ms. Shannon Hendley, the Director and Deputy Director of Cherokee Probation Services, and Mr. Cody Page, the Chief Operating Officer of PCS. This session built on a foundation laid in 2022, when our probation officers first learned about the system during a training exercise in Cherokee, Georgia.

This training equipped them with the necessary skills to effectively utilise the system, ensuring a seamless transition from traditional paper files to a fully digital environment. PCS offers a range of advanced features designed to support our staff and enhance service delivery. Key features include a drug test randomiser that ensures unbiased and efficient scheduling of drug tests, text reminders to clients to automate reminders for appointments and important dates, and a built-in case plan to facilitate personalised and structured case management.

Additionally, the system includes a task manager to help staff stay organised, a document wizard to simplify document creation and management, activity notes to provide a comprehensive record of all case activities and interactions, and easy access to rehabilitative programme information to support client rehabilitation.

Hon. Kyle Knowles, the Minister of Public Safety and Utilities, shared his enthusiasm for this technological advancement: “The implementation of this electronic case management system represents a monumental step forward in our commitment to improving public safety and rehabilitation services. By adopting Pronto Caseload Solutions, we are not only enhancing our operational efficiency but also ensuring that our clients receive the best possible support and supervision. I commend the Department of Rehabilitation and Community Supervision for their dedication to this transition and for their ongoing efforts to serve our communities better.”

The Department of Rehabilitation and Community Supervision remains dedicated to leveraging innovative solutions to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our services. This new system underscores our commitment to modernising our operations and providing superior service to the community.
