Children Looking Smart at King’s Parade Honours in Grand Turk

#TurksandCaicos, June 22, 2023 – Uniformed groups, including children from the Brownies, Boys Scouts, Cadets, Prison Officers and TCI Regiment members all marched with the country’s top officials and others from the community looking on.

The Saturday June 17 event kept an annual tradition of celebration of the sovereign’s birthday, this year that was newly crowned, King Charles III.

Held at the parade grounds in the nation’s capital, Grand Turk,  the parade was mirrored across the other overseas territories.

Acting Governor Anya Williams headed the event which featured Turks and Caicos residents who received awards for their years of service to the country.

Family members of the honored service workers were in attendance and cheered jubilantly for the uniformed personnel as they were pinned by Governor Williams.

The event was followed with a public holiday on Monday June 19th
