#TurksandCaicos, May 1, 2023 – The Turks and Caicos Tourism and Hotel Association is on board with the government’s move to a Destination Marketing and Management Organization; they expressed their support following their bi-annual Board of Directors Elections on April 20th.

Both Trevor Musgrove, former TCHTA President (now Chairman) and Stacy Cox TCHTA CEO,  endorsed the country’s move to a DMMO and shared what they described as the Government’s transparency and inclusive approach throughout the consultancy and planning stages.

A press release from the TCHTA said the rest of the evening was spent engaging in a ‘vibrant’ discussion on how larger entities in the Turks and Caicos can support smaller service providers, and the growth of the sector can be secured with a unified tourism sector.

The TCHTA members represent a large cross section of the tourism stakeholders in the country, from multi-million dollar hotels to architects and more, the organization was identified as a voting member on the Board of the DMMO, which replaces the current, TCI Tourist Board.
