Four Counts of Suspicion of Handling Stolen Goods

#TurksandCaicos, May 15, 2023 – A 42-year old Granny Hill, Five Cays, Providenciales, female has been granted $40,000 bail and will appear before a Magistrate on June 13th.

Rose-Marie Chery was charged by officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force on May 12th, with FOUR COUNTS of Handling Stolen Goods.

Based on information received, RTCIPF officers on April 23rd, 2023, executed a search warrant at a shop in Granny Hill.

During the search, RTCIPF officers recovered large quantities of electronics, generators, electrical fittings, solar panels, building supplies, power tools, construction equipment, hydraulic oils, power washers, windows, doors, plywood, fencing materials, pumps and pipe fittings.

An investigation was launched and Ms. Chery was arrested and subsequently charged.
