Special Guest, Atlanta Senator with special welcome to Turks & Caicos

#TurksandCaicos, March 9, 2023 – Democratic US Senator Raphael Warnock, while vacationing in the Turks and Caicos was met by representatives of the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA) on arrival on Wednesday and given the ‘VIP Treatment’, the TCIAA says.
Photos of the informal meet and greet showed Warnock sharing a laugh and receiving a present from the TCIAA employees.
An Atlanta native, Warnock made history with his Senate appointment in 2021 as the first Black Senator in the state of Georgia and the first Black Democrat elected to the Senate in a Southern state. He went on to defend his seat for a full six-year term in December 2022.
Warnock is also a local pastor serving as the head of Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church.
