Potcake Place Featured On Washington Post

#TurksandCaicos, March 17, 2023 – Potcake Place K9 rescue is making international headlines for its good deeds as they find homes for TCI puppies around the globe. The Washington Post recently featured the animal shelter which occupies one of the suites at Saltmills Plaza in Grace Bay.

Potcake Place has re-homed thousands of dogs successfully and takes care of hundreds of stray dogs. It runs totally on donations and the labour of volunteers. The article featured several of Potcakes re-homed pups including ‘Blueberry’ who now lives in snowy Chicago, Millie, who was found wandering Millennium Highway, who now resides in Toronto, and Adira, found in a junkyard washing machine, who now lives in the UK.
Potcake Place banks on the hundreds of thousands of tourists that visit the country yearly to adopt their dogs, a strategy that has proven successful. Long queue is a regular feature of the spot, as scores of guests hope for a chance to adopt a pet while on holiday.
The charity has a detailed website where you can donate on whatever tier you are comfortable with, from donating $10 to a worming treatment, $50 to a full puppy rescue starter kit up to $500 dollars to re-home a puppy.
