Meet Dana Malcolm, a Magnetic Media News Leader

#Jamaica, March 1, 2023 – Magnetic Media’s hard news journalist, Dana Malcolm was born and raised in Jamaica.   She comes from rural St. Elizabeth, one of Jamaica’s largest parishes and home to one of famous Maroon towns called Accompong.   She attended the revered traditional boarding school for girls, Hampton High, where she studied for seven years up to sixth form.
Following her tenure as a student at Hampton, Dana matriculated at the University of the West Indies, Mona where she exercised and grew her passion for writing and media by pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
Ms. Malcolm then got her debut as in the field working with PanoGrama. However, her first “Hardcore job as a journalist” came when she was hired to work with Magnetic Media where she covers international as well as Turks and Caicos national news ranging from politics to sports, community, business and entertainment.
