Daddy Devon and Za’Yah steal the show

#TurksandCaicos, August 25, 2022 – Daddy and daughter duo Devon and Za’Yah Bottex successfully charmed the entirety of the Turks and Caicos Islands with their sweet banter and gorgeous hairstyles on their way to winning
Devon and Za’Yah were the de facto winners of the Department of Gender Affairs’ competition being the only participants, but we dare say the duo would have given any other competitors a run for their money anyway.
“Is daddy doing the right thing, this is what mommy does right?”, Devon jokingly asks as he begins the process of combing his zayapaya’s (as she is affectionately called) beautiful curls.
Like an expert YouTuber, Devon patiently explains the process for any other parents that may be watching from the detangling to parting and twisting.
True to her kiddie nature, Za’Yah shuffles around sending her dad into some complicated positions as he tries to make sure he can still reach her head.
The relationship between the two is filled with laughter as they joke around while Devon expertly gives his daughter a complicated braided updo, skipping over the easy ponytails. 
“We gon make these edges wavy boy!” he teases his daughter, referring to her thick curly baby hairs that he expertly slicks down.
After a serious discussion centering on whether they will go with the pink or blue bow (spoiler alert they choose blue), the video ends with Devon proudly showing off his work and Za’Yah very happy with her hairdo; all viewers are 100 percent enamored.
The Department of Gender in sharing the video expressed the hope that more men would enter the competition for Father’s Day next year.
