#TurksandCaicos, March 17, 2022 – Some of the most captivating Caribbean destiantions and tourism getaway nations have been moved to a much better standing on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control travel list.

Lower risk for Covid-19 is where these nations fall.

Here’s who made this all important cut to now being at Level 3 rating:  Cuba, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Sint Maarten, the British Virgin Islands, The Bahamas, the Dominican Republic and the Turks and Caicos Islands.

All have improved from Level 4 which meant very high risk to now, Level 3 which is high.

The CDC recommends travelers interested in these destinations should make sure they are up to date on their coronavirus vaccinations.

These ratings are especially important since a major source market for many Caribbean countries is the United States and CDC ratings have an impact on the  travel insurance available to vacationers.
