#TurksandCaicos, July 8, 2021 – Turks and Caicos investor and resident Chris Stokes achieves yet another fantastic milestone in sports; Stokes who is the owner of NCS in TCI is now the chairman of the Awards Committee of the World Olympians Association or WOA.

Stokes, himself a four-time Olympian and one of the original members of the highly unique Jamaican bobsled team, called it “an honour”.

The St Mary’s Parish native promised to put his shoulders to the wheel in a news report carried by the Jamaica Observer about his appointment to the WOA.

Stokes believes Olympians have much to offer both on and off the field and his plan is to find a way to better harness and focus the incredible power of the global Olympics family.

The awards committee is charged with establishing a strategy to find ways to recognise Olympians outside of the competition arena.

Stokes is also the president of the Jamaica Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation.
