26 Haitians caught on uninhabited West Caicos
#TurksandCaicos, March 1, 2021 – POLICE: Around 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, February 24th, 2021, Marine Branch Officers were dispatched to West Caicos after reports that an illegal vessel had landed. With the assistance of the Immigration Task Force, 26 irregular Haitian migrants were captured and arrested.
Twenty-five males and one female were transported via M/V Sea Guardian to the South Dock Port on Providenciales for processing and repatriation.
The entire operation was conducted without incident
