TCI: Seven schools complete GSAT with all their students passing out
#Providenciales, June 19, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – Seven of the 20 schools with examination candidates in the 2019 Grade Six Achievement Tests pulled through excellently as all of their students were successful in passing the GSAT, which also had its final year as the national high school entrance examination.
Adelaide Omeler Primary, Faith Preparatory, Mills Institute, Providence International, Provo Christian, Shining Stars and Susanna Wesley are recorded with 100 percent of their entrants passing to go from grade six to first form.
The two test-takers entered by the Department of Education were also successful; giving this category a 100 percent pass rate also.
Overall, of the 535 children who sat GSAT across the country, a total of 363 candidates passed to go to junior high school.
It is a national pass rate of 67.85 percent.
