Forensics Laboratory coming for TCI
#Providenciales, February 19, 2019 – Turks and Caicos – Turks and Caicos Police officers are right now being trained to catch cyber criminals. The National Security Council meeting of February 1, 2019 revealed that the Miami Beach Police Department is helping in the effort to get local Police Supervisors ready to tackle crime through use of digital forensics.
“Additional training for Police Supervisors is currently being delivered by the Miami Beach Police Force and new digital forensics laboratory training would commence shortly.”
While this training has long been used in detecting fraud and other ‘white collar crimes’, the skill set is becoming increasingly important to solving all sorts of crime, including murder.
