Parole Board grants two early prison releases; woman in 2010 Rolex heist set free

#Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands – Tuesday September 25, 2018 – The woman in this video was convicted and imprisoned as an accomplice in one of the most notorious heists in Turks and Caicos history and now she is a free woman.

Magnetic Media is told that the parole board agreed to release Roxanne Lockhart from Her Majesty’s Prison last Wednesday and her departure was swift and tearful.  Lockhart got to go home after serving five years of a 12 year sentence in prison for the crime of participating in the brazen armed robbery of Jai’s Jewelry Store in Grace Bay in 2010.

Nearly half a million dollars in Rolex watches was taken at the time of the bold daytime robbery, where Lockhart was initially believed to be a woman in danger, but eventually due to video surveillance, was shown to be a decoy and a key player in the sordid plot.  Well placed, some say, to unlock secured doors and allow into the store a group of men who shot at and stripped the Rolex showcase of its expensive hardware.

Only two people have ever been incarcerated for the crime; Roxanne Lockhart who was sentenced to 12 years and Wilkie Arthur, who was sentenced to 15 years.

There were ten individuals up for parole in the sitting of Wednesday September 19, two were granted early release.  William Noel is also freed now after having served six years for a drug bust in 2012, where over 120 pounds of marijuana was found in Noel’s vehicle by Police.

In the case of the stolen Rolex watches and Roxanne Lockhart; our media house is told the loot was never recovered.
