#Providenciales, August 23, 2018 – Turks and Caicos – If you have ever been concerned about how knowledgeable government officers of the Registration and Citizenship Department are about the pathway to British Citizenship, then this information may bring you comfort.

Becoming a British citizen should be easier after next week for Turks and Caicos Islanders and others who qualify thanks to a seminar being hosted by the Ministry of Border Control and Employment.  The five day seminar is geared to the staff of Registration & Citizenship and other members throughout the Ministry and it will focus primarily on the British Nationality Act.

An announcement from TCIG about the staff being engrossed in the seminar next week came yesterday… it explained that these civil servants will be able to assist and advise customers on their abilities to advance towards citizenship.  That’s the up side… the down side is that the staff of this department will not be available for the entire week.

TCIG informs that both Customer Services Centers will fill in where possible, so those needing the Registration and Citizenship Department should contact that office.
