#Bahamas, April 16, 2018 – Nassau – Members of the Press are invited to attend the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s Award of Decorations Ceremony which will be held on April 20th 2018 at 10:00 a.m, on the Lower Grounds of Government House.
Excellency, Dame Marguerite Pindling, honoured principal of the event, will award various decorations to 129 members of the force who would have dedicated their lives to service in the ranks and files of the country’s only military entity for eighteen (18) years, twenty-five (25) years and thirty (30) years.
Additionally, she will officially induct new members of the Officer Corp and award them their instruments of authority in the form of their commissions.
We look forward to having a representative from your organization to help us archive this important milestone. Defence Force members will be seated by 09:30 am on that day.
