#TurksandCaicos, February 14, 2018 – Providenciales – Provo Golf Club, The Turks and Caicos 18 hole Championship golf course was voted as the 5th Best Caribbean Golf Couse, by 10best.com USAToday 10Best Readers’ Choice 2018 Awards.

“We are excited and humbled to receive this great award” comments Dave Douglas, Director of golf, “It is a dream come true to be celebrating this award as we celebrate our 25th anniversary year.  This award would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of all our staff, from Groundkeepers to Sales Staff, all who make this club such a fabulous place to work and visit.   We will all be celebrating throughout 2018.”

The Turks and Caicos are very fortunate to have the almost perfect all-year-round climate in which golfers can play.  World class facilities include the newly renovated platinum Paspalum playing surfaces, practice chipping, putting, and warm up areas, along with The Fairways Bar and Grill and our fully stocked Pro Shop.

Competition was tough, with the best of the best golf courses in the Caribbean all contending.  Eventually Old Quarry Golf Course (Curacao) was voted in 1st place, Punta Espada (Dominican Republic) in second, Teeth of the Dog at Casa De Campo (Dominican Republic) third and Apes Hill Club Course (Barbados) in 4th place.

This award is now in its 19th year, and this was the first time that Provo Golf Club has been nominated.  A panel of experts partnered with 10Best editors to pick the initial 20 nominees, and the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote.
