#TurksandCaicos, October 11, 2017 – Providenciales – The country’s Youth Affairs Director, #JasmineParker is on her way back to university after winning a Chevening Scholarship to earn her Master’s Degree thanks to the UK Government. Parker will attend Birbeck University of London for a year on the scholarship and will pursue a Master’s in Child Youth and International Development.
The Governor’s Office yesterday made the announcement and said, “Despite the challenges and setbacks faced by the TCI, as a result of hurricanes Irma and Maria, the commitment to the development of persons through UK higher education remains steadfast and strong.”
Ms. Parker leaves this month. Congratulations to you Jasmine!
