Turks and Caicos, September 5th, 2017 – Providenciales – Guests to the Turks and Caicos are being asked, if they can, to leave early and the plan of the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports authority is to keep the airports open for as long as possible.
FAA and CAA requirements are that all airports close though when wind speeds get to around 45mph.
The Premier, Sharlene Robinson, who was also celebrating her birthday on Monday September 4 addressed concerns about tourists during the media debriefing yesterday.
