Bermuda, June 22, 2017 – Two junior TCI Sailors are representing the country in competition today in Bermuda at the America’s Cup Hobie Wave Junior Regatta. Races start later today and will end, says a proud parent reporting back to Magnetic Media with a ‘big time half time show at the main American’s Cup event live on ESPN on Saturday.’
There are 12 teams competing from countries like New Zealand, Australia, Sweden, The Netherlands, UK, USA and host country, Bermuda. Our sailors had some training yesterday – Maya Lopes-Wilson and Ollie Downes are now ready for what is being called, the biggest sailing event of their young lives and it also marks the TCIs first time entry into the America’s Cup Hobie Wave Junior regatta.
