New Education Minister is Hon. Karen Malcolm
Turks and Caicos, June 20, 2017 – Providenciales – At a Press Conference today, it was announced that Karen Malcolm is the New Education Minister. She is the replacement for Hon. Josephine Connolly who was terminated last week by The Premier.
Born in Grand Turk and schooled in The Bahamas, Malcolm was this morning sworn in by the Governor said Premier Sharlene Robinson. She was Deputy Speaker before today’s appointment.
Karen Malcolm thanked her colleagues and congratulated GSAT performance in her break-out remarks. “Continue to support me and our Ministers as we do our best for each and everyone living in the Turks and Caicos Islands.” she said.
