Turks and Caicos, June 22, 2017 – Providenciales – Since yesterday the Department of Statistics began its bi-annual Labour Force Survey. In a media release, Statistics said, “Enumerators with IDs and special vests will visit selected households on each island. The department is asking for the support and cooperation of the general public with this exercise. A Labour Force Survey provides estimates of employment and unemployment. These are among the most important measures of economic performance of any economy.”
The survey continues until July 21st.
