Turks and Caicos, March 15, 2017 – Providenciales – Detectives of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force have charged a 21 year-old male of Five Cays Providenciales with Robbery and Assault with intent to Rob, Possession of Controlled Drugs and Possession of Controlled Drugs with intent to supply.
The Charges of Robbery and Assault with Intent to Rob stemmed from reports that were made around 6:02am on Monday 6th March 2017 by two women who stated that while out exercising on the road, they were individually approached by an unknown male from a Black SUV. The 21 year old male was later arrested on Suspicion of Robbery. During the execution of a Search Warrant, police discovered drugs at his home. He will be taken to court this morning.
