Turks and Caicos, March 27, 2017 – Providenciales – Police are actually leading the investigation which today saw employees of Border Control and Labour arrested and taken off the job.  Those staffers – said to be two women – are actually employed in the Labour side of the Ministry at the One Stop Shop, not the Immigration Department.

Director of the Integrity Commission, Eugene Otuonye, said, “this is primarily a Police operation..” and that “the  IC is an interested partner but in the background of this operation.”  There are expected to be more arrests in the probe.
