Bahamas, March 31, 2017 – Nassau – Some rehabilitation is coming the Minister hopes as she announced that 15-20 inmates will help in rolling out a program where vehicle license plates will be manufactured at the Fox Hill Prison.
Minister Glenys Hanna Martin said the current maker of the license plates will continue until The Bahamas is ready for full production. It is expected the inmates under the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services will begin the pilot program, which will also pay them a salary, in May.
