Earthquake Week, two Caribbean countries record quakes

Trinidad and Tobago, January 9, 2017 – Days before the seventh anniversary of the 2010 Haiti Earthquake that rocked Port Au Prince and the world, the DDME says it is Earthquake Awareness Week. Coincidentally, on Sunday, Trinidad and Tobago recorded a 4.3 magnitude earthquake.

There was no report of injury or destruction by BarbadosToday online and last Wednesday, the Dominican Republic also recorded a regional earthquake at 3.8 on the Richter scale.
