Providenciales, TCI, November 7, 2016 – Some PDM members of North Caicos are lashing out at what they called ‘trash and lies’ said about Ralph Higgs, their candidate during a Saturday night PNP Rally.

In a statement we received, there was strong disdain expressed for Rufus Ewing, Leader of the Progressive National Party and former Tourism Minister.   The statement questioned the validity of half a million dollars given to Ralph Higgs but not used to promote the twin islands, and called claims that Higgs was too busy travelling to promote the country in tourism as ‘foolishness.’

There were questions about why the Premier as tourism minister would allow Higgs’ to ignore the ‘twin islands’.   The supporters say Ralph Higgs’ record speaks for itself, and there was warning for the Premier that his plan will not work.  The statement in part says, “No trick you and your PNP Government pull this election will bring home the twin islands seat to the PNP.  Enough is enough.”

One observer also pointed out that the prayer to start the PNP rally in North on Airport Road, thanked God for the PNP, but did so for the Mike Missick regime… current Premier Rufus Ewing, who was there for the rally was left out of that prayer.

There’s a PDM Rally tonight in Provo at the party’s headquarters.
